Studio Assistant

We’re looking for a bright, enthusiastic, go-getter who loves home decor and design to join our team!

Laurel Blush is an online retail store that designs custom throw pillows and home decor. We work closely with over 150 interior designers and our customers to help bring their vision to life!

The studio assistant plays a key role in helping obtaining products for client orders as well as provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction to our customers.

They manage all open orders from the day the order is placed to shipment ensuring our orders are processed without delay. From custom creating pillow combinations with our designer software, to assisting with packaging and shipping orders each day, the shop assistant helps with the entire process of the order.

This position also works closely with our owner and designer on photoshoots, product shots, new design creations and more.

Responsibilities:

• Packaging and Shipping out orders daily
• Handles all communication with seamstresses
• Preparing products for photoshoots
• Designing Pillow Combinations in our designer program to create custom designs for our customers
• Reordering Inventory
• Managing Returns
• Answer all customer messages on Etsy and Shopify

Qualifications:

• Articulate, persuasive communicator (oral and written)
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Demonstrates self-motivation and initiative, works with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Excel
• Computer literate - comfortable using a Mac Computer & software.
• Photoshop savvy - a plus but not required.
• Can lift up to 20 pounds

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.10 per hour

Benefits: Employee discount and paid time off

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: Microsoft Office: 4 years (Required), Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
