What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manual Machine Operator position at Lavelle Industries?
Do you enjoy a physical job? Are you efficient, and love taking ownership of the work that you do? We have an opportunity for a Manual Machine Operator at our Burlington, WI facility!
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, with focus on producing quality parts, tracking that presses are running at an ideal temperature, and providing constructive feedback on parts and process on day to day basis.
Shifts Available:
- 12-hour rotating night shift (7:00pm - 7:00am)(2-2-3 schedule)
- 3rd shift (11:00pm - 7:00am)
Wages & Shift Premiums:
$20.54 shift premium
- 12-hour rotating night shift (7pm-7am)(2-2-3 schedule) premium: $1.50
- 3rd shift premium: $1.00
A Day-In-The-Life (don’t worry, training included!):
- Performing machine adjustments and minor servicing needed to maintain part quality and production targets
- Learning new skills and equipment to keep processes up to date and efficient
- Cross training to gain skills in other departments, as well as training others
- Recording and submitting production quality data
- Promoting a safe environment by following safety procedures
- Making your voice heard through continuous improvement opportunities and suggestions and feedback.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (lift assist, and hydraulic tools to help)
- Comfortable in a normal factory environment with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations
