What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scaffold Superintendent position at LAVENDER, INC.?
Lavender, Inc. is looking to hire a Scaffold Superintendent. We are General and Mechanical Contractors with nearly 40 years of experience. With this role, you will oversee all scaffold projects, which are primarily in AL & MS. There are times occasionally in which we may have jobs in other states. We primarily work in the Southeast USA.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of scaffold/ construction experience as a Foreman or Supervisor
- In Depth Knowledge of Scaffolding and Construction
- Ability to Lead Crews of 5-30 Employees
- Ability to Perform Strenuous Work
- Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to Use Power Tools & Measuring Devices
- Flexibility to Work Overtime as Needed
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety is our top priority! You must ensure work is completed safely according to safety standards by Lavender, Inc. and the customer.
- Perform work under all OSHA Standards
- Quality is crucial as well! You will be responsible for guiding crews to produce quality work the first time and meet production goals at an efficient cost.
- Inspect work progress and equipment used on site
- Read Construction Drawings and Blueprints
- Assist Superintendent in carrying out tasks
- Organize materials, equipment, and crews to meet deadlines
- Advise Project Managers of the work status and recommend adjustments
