Job Posting for Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal at Law Firm
The Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal will be responsible for drafting, editing, reviewing, and filing probate pleadings and estate planning documents. This position acts as the crucial link between our attorneys and our clients, ensuring fluid and effective communication. The successful candidate will not only manage the comprehensive preparation of documents for client consultations but also oversee the orderly progression of cases to their conclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the drafting, editing, reviewing, and filing processes for probate pleadings and estate planning documents with meticulous attention to detail.
Serve as the primary conduit for communication between attorneys and clients, providing exemplary service and fostering positive relationships.
Prepare, organize, and compile essential documents ahead of client meetings, efficiently managing the flow of cases from start to completion.
Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues through consistent in-person, email, and telephone interactions.
Accurately calculate and monitor deadlines, implementing calendar reminders for both personal and attorney-led tasks to ensure timely compliance.
Expertly utilize a variety of technological resources and systems to gather, organize, and accurately document case-relevant information.
Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
Undertake administrative duties related to file preparation, organization, and maintenance, contributing to streamlined case management.
Job Requirements:
Previous Probate Experience Required
Previous Estate Planning Experience Required
An outgoing personality with excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or WordPerfect.
Ability to multi-task.
Experience with hourly time tracking/billing is required
Florida Registered Paralegal preferred, or goal to obtain that certification in the future.
A High school diploma/GED is required.
