Requirements:

  • Experienced in the area of workers' compensation
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Proficient with EAMS
  • Must be able to work independently

Responsibilities include:

  • Drafting various types of correspondence such as opening letters to new clients, closing letters, Advocacy letters, letters requesting information, appointment notices, hearing notices, etc.
  • Filing new applications, amend applications, Petitions to Reopen, 5710 Fee Petitions, Stipulations and C&R documents, Declarations of Readiness to Proceed, etc.
  • Calendaring appointments with clients, AME/QME appointments, Cross Examinations, Depositions, Hearings etc
  • Conduct new client intakes and schedule appointments
  • Create case files for clients by entering information onto database as well as organizing any and all documents efficiently for new and existing physical files
  • Communicate with clients, adjusters, defense attorneys, and doctor offices providing or requesting information or status on pending issues
  • Request QME panels and issue applicants attorney strike.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
