Job Requirements:
· Preparing and filing pleadings, motions, discovery and other court documents
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Zoom, and Dropbox
· Preparing for and assisting with trials and hearings (federal and state)
· Reviewing medical records and lost wage documentation
· Transcribing correspondence
· Maintaining docket calendar
· Interacting with clients, insurance companies, and other law firms
· High-stress tolerance with ability to multi-task efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
· Minimum of 4-6 years of paralegal experience
· Spanish speaker
· Knowledgeable on Texas Rules of Civil Procedure Federal Rules of Civil Procedure
· Experience in both state and federal court
Compensation:
· Salary based on experience, ranging from $55,000 to $65,000
· Incentive structure based on performance
· Actual compensation packages will be based on a range of factors specific to each candidate, including but not limited to certification, years and type of experience, and unique skill set.
