Summary: Directly responsible for supervision of the nursing unit and provision of resident care. Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills. Must be able to supervise the facility in the absence of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursing and licensed by the state of Arkansas.
Experience: Previous experience as a nursing home charge nurse with a desire to work in geriatrics preferred. Must possess a good working knowledge of the nursing process and demonstrate sound clinical skills. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
Work Hours / Days: This position is part-time and requires a commitment to every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
