About the Job
This position is dedicated to one customer and involves a variety of freight hauling for them. You will be required to haul tankers, reefers and end dump trailers on any given day.
All freight starts in Gaffney SC and once you get unloaded you deadhead back to Gaffney for your next assignment. You are paid ODOMETER MILES, LOADED AND EMPTY.
Frequent Freight Lanes
o Reefer Freight : Gaffney to Philadelphia (2-4 Stops) back to Gaffney
o Reefer Freight : Gaffney to Mt Airy MD (2 Stops) back to Gaffney
o Reefer Freight : Eastern Seaboard from NJ to FL
o Tanker Freight short haul (out and back) ie : Atlanta, GA and back
o End Dump Freight (out and back) ie : to Asheboro, NC and back
Home Weekends and possibly 1-2 nights during the week
6 Paid Holidays (after 90 days) Plus 2 Floating Holidays

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
- Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
- Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
- Being available for work at all times in order to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

Hiring Requirements
- Class A license without any of the following restrictions : (G) Night Driving, (O) No Semi Trailer or (K) Intrastate Only
- Must have (N) Tank Vehicles endorsement at time of hire
- 12 months Tractor Trailer experience
