Part-Time Soil Sampler

Job Description:

Lazy T Precision Services, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Soil Sampler to join our dynamic team. As a Soil Sampler, you will play a crucial role in collecting soil samples from various rural locations, ensuring accuracy and quality control of the samples. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor position that requires operating company vehicle, ATVs, and specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel to assigned rural locations to collect soil samples.
• Communicate regularly with the owner to coordinate sampling schedules.
• Collect soil samples from customer fields using company-provided equipment, including Data Enabled IPad, GPS equipment and soil sampling probes.
• Record sample data accurately, maintaining high levels of precision.
• Operate vehicles, ATVs, and trailers in a safely manner
• Maintain equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Uphold the company's commitment to quality and efficiency in soil sampling

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Physical fitness is essential, as this role involves walking, repetitive bending, and lifting packages weighing between 10-50 lbs.
• Ability to operate vehicles, ATVs, and trailers safely and responsibly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to follow established sampling methods and techniques.
