SUMMARY: This position is responsible for answering phone calls and greeting customers to route them appropriately for their need through knowledge of sales staff schedules, appointments, and sales que. Perfect for full time employees looking for weekend work or college students looking for extra income.
HOURS: Saturday 8am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Greet arriving guests
• Keep computer log of which sales person is off, who is up next, and who is with a customer
• Keep a lot-ups sheet
• Check guests name into computer to see who the salesperson is
• Answer all phone calls coming into sales support area in a timely manner
• Assist customers with whom they need to speak and routes calls accordingly.
• Keep track of the sales people’s appointments for the day.
• Voice mail salespeople who are unavailable as to who is assisting their guests.
• Help guests who appear to have a problem by getting them to the right person ASAP.
• Give out lunch and break tickets
• Make packets for sales people.
• Call taxi’s or rental car agencies for guests
• Attend all company required meetings.
• Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
• Professional in appearance and conduct.
• Excellent time management and problem solving skills
• Excellent organization skills, detail oriented, and ability to multi-task
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Availability to work in excess of 40 hours a week including nights and weekends, with little to no advance notice
• Flexibility to cover changing work schedules as needed
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, push, and pull
• Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to sit and work on a computer, looking at a monitor for extended periods of time
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
EDUCATION:
• HS Diploma or equivalent
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Basic skills with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Accurate keyboarding skills minimum 30 wpm
• Knowledge of company software systems
