Who You Are...

As a Plant Manager, this position is responsible for managing and overseeing overall plant operations including finance, manufacturing, engineering, materials, maintenance, safety, and quality while making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of all operations.

  1. Manage facility operations budgets, expenses, and systems to meet or exceed the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.
  2. Lead in continual improvement process of safety/environmental, quality, manufacturing, equipment upgrades, and plant administrative functions and personnel policies.
  3. Facilitate and lead the development of procedures and systems specific to meeting customer needs and satisfaction, timeliness and delivery of goods and services.
  4. Oversee the hourly EE status of hiring, firing, training, transfers, incentives, and HR policy.
  5. Facilitate and lead safety training, investigations, and positive preventative behavior.
  6. Ensure 100% compliance in environmental and safety regulations.
  7. Accountable for the performance and results of the plant by adopting and executing business unit's plan, including business, production, operational, and strategic priorities
  8. Provide both direct and indirect continual training for staff – leadership training, function training and career training.
  9. Collaborate with the Threaded Products sales team to deliver profitable growth and increasing customer satisfaction by providing high service levels, reliable quality, and competitive value to new and existing customers.
  10. All other duties as assigned.

 

What Do You Need...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 years of experience in leadership roles with minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing or related environment; direct operational supervisory experience is required
  • Casing and / or tubular product experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, decision making skills, interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of general accounting practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to demonstrate knowledge of Lean principles, Six-Sigma and coating best practices. Formal lean certifications (Green or Black Belt, etc.) a plus.
