Quality Assurance Technician
Family-owned, mission-driven, and environmentally focused industrial food and fiber company providing new opportunities for farmers and rural communities in Montana and across the American West is looking to add a Quality Assurance Technician to their growing team. Our team is building the relationships and processing infrastructure necessary to support the growth of a stable supply chain using American Grown seeds and fiber at scale in industries domestically and around the world.
The QA Technician will play a key role in managing audit and compliance, as well as regulatory safety. The ideal candidate will
have a strong background in food safety and auditing, and a strategic mindset.
Essential Duties & Activities:
- Managing corrective actions to improve product quality and safety, including identifying issues, developing effective solutions, and ensuring timely implementation.
- Documenting actions, analyzing data, and engaging with customers to address complaints, investigate root causes, and ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Working closely with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate and monitor suppliers and vendors, ensuring quality and safety standards compliance.
- Supporting the Quality Assurance Manager in responding to quality-related emergencies, product withdrawals/recalls, or crisis situations, and maintaining accurate records of quality assurance activities.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and HACCP.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of GFSI level programs, standards, and food safety regulations.
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and food manufacturing.
