Overview
We are seeking a M365 Solutions Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions leveraging Microsoft 365 technologies to meet our clients' business needs. The Architect will have a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Microsoft 365 Apps, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and other related technologies.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
· Develop and present architectural plans for Microsoft 365 deployments, considering factors such as security, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
· Work closely with clients, project managers, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Microsoft 365 solutions.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and ongoing support.
· Design and oversee the deployment of Microsoft 365 Apps, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal user experience.
· Architect and implement SharePoint and Teams solutions, facilitating collaboration and communication within organizations.
· Address security and compliance requirements for Microsoft 365 solutions, implementing best practices for data protection and access control.
· Plan and execute migrations from on-premises environments to Microsoft 365, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.
· Develop training materials and documentation for end-users and support teams. Conduct training sessions as needed.
· Stay informed about the latest updates and features in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on Microsoft 365 technologies
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 Apps especially Microsoft Power Platform - MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate and Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, and related services
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features
- Strong understanding of identity management and authentication in Microsoft 365
- Experience leading SharePoint redesign and migration projects.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with agile methodologies and ability to provide sprint planning to support the project team.
- Ability to lead and guide project teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Desired:
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-100, MS-101, MS-500) are a plus
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $145,000 to $187,000 with a target salary of $159,800 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
