SASE Professional Services Engineer

Position Description:

We are seeking a Professional Services Engineer (PSE) at LCG who is integral to our team, focusing on the deployment and operational integration of Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) products. In this role, you will act as an extension of our clients' technical teams, ensuring the successful rollout, configuration, and optimization of SASE solutions to enhance security and performance across networks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the hands-on deployment and operationalization of SASE solutions at client sites, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal functionality.
• Collaborate closely with client security and network teams to customize SASE configurations based on specific organizational needs.
• Provide technical consulting and become a trusted advisor to client project teams, focusing on the strategic implementation of SASE technologies.
• Facilitate training and enablement for client teams to ensure thorough understanding and self-sufficiency in managing SASE products.
• Produce and maintain detailed documentation reflecting customized SASE deployments and best practices.
• Manage and escalate client issues as needed, maintaining a clear line of communication between all stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal knowledge bases, capturing new insights and solutions for broader use.
• Provide weekly status reports to both the customer and LCG PMO, detailing progress, challenges, and milestones.
• Forge and maintain a productive working partnership with OEMs teams to secure advanced level support when needed.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in implementing and supporting SASE, secure web gateway, firewall, and other cloud security applications.
• Strong understanding of network architectures and data encryption technologies.
• Experience with DLP policies, cloud technologies, and compliance regulations such as HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, etc.
• Customer-centric mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships.
• Prior experience supporting SASE solutions such as Zscaler, Palo Alto, Netskope.
• Proven ability to navigate and work effectively within Federal IT Organizations, ensuring alignment and compliance with broader organizational objectives.

Compensation and Benefits 

The projected compensation range for this position is $210,00 to $280,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
