Job Description:
The Senior Director of ERP will lead a dynamic IT organization focused on implementing, supporting, and optimizing ERP applications, including Oracle Fusion Cloud, third-party solutions, and our in-house legacy ERP system (WinDECs). We seek a seasoned professional with a proven track record in spearheading major ERP initiatives and providing global deployment support. This role entails designing and implementing new modules, as well as enhancing existing components to meet evolving business needs, with a particular emphasis on Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes.
Responsibilities:
Execute directorial duties at an expert level, overseeing a team of advanced-level personnel tackling intricate challenges that span business activities and processes. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and foster career development opportunities.
Drive the development and execution of functional strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. Regularly communicate with company leadership and stakeholders within the assigned area of responsibility.
Champion multiple complex strategic initiatives aligned with corporate objectives, overseeing teams, setting priorities, and allocating resources accordingly.
Lead the technology implementation and support for the Quote-to-Cash program, facilitating the transition from legacy ERP systems to modern technology solutions supporting our future growth.
Establish an optimal delivery organization comprising functional experts, software engineers, configuration/customization specialists, QA professionals, and maintenance/support staff.
Develop and implement a robust rollout process aligned with industry best practices and standards.
Ensure technical integrity of solutions in compliance with IT standards and policies, collaborating closely with solution architects.
Oversee recruitment, training, and development of ERP capabilities in the U.S. and India.
Assume accountability for existing legacy ERP technologies and oversee the rollout of new ERP applications/modules.
Define non-functional and technical requirements, and contribute to the refinement of functional requirements.
Ensure uptime and integrity of ERP systems, integrations, and extensions round-the-clock.
Play a pivotal role in crafting rollout strategies, detailing execution plans, and owning program success.
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferred.
10 years of management experience, with 11 years of industry experience in IT, people leadership, or relevant roles preferred.
Extensive experience (10 years) in ERP, particularly in finance, procurement, and order management/supply chain.
Proven ability in global stakeholder management and strong communication skills.
Proficiency in organizational change management.
Demonstrated aptitude in people development and driving high employee engagement.
Capacity to motivate and mobilize teams effectively.
