CS Specialist / Dispatcher
LCL Bulk Transport is now accepting resumes for a dispatcher position in Green Bay, WI.
LCL Bulk Transport Inc. has more than 90-years’ experience in Kosher, food grade, bulk liquid transportation. LCL is a Wisconsin based company that operates 70 trucks from Elkhorn, WI and Elizabethtown, PA.
Responsible for receiving, entering and planning loads for customer base with shipper locations in your region of responsibility. Plan Loads for the fleet with focused effort on achieving targeted service levels and empty mile percentage.
Job Duties:
1. Responsible for load solicitation to maximize loaded miles and achieve targeted loaded mile goal.
2. Responsible for order entry of loads, exercising judgement in assessing available resource capacity for successfully achieving your on time goal of 98% consistently.
3. Responsible for daily driver worksheet to identify based on current dispatch load schedule, driver availability for planning load for next 24 hours or 72 hours for weekend.
4. Responsible for daily load planning to include identifying trailer, tractor and driver assignment, reviewing plan with terminal management and daily dispatch to drivers on a timely basis.
5. Complete the wash list for terminal and outside tank wash facilities
6. Manage resolution of any pending after hours dispatch call(s) for your region of business.
7. Tracking of load turndowns.
8. Ensure deliveries and pick-ups are coordinated timely and efficiently
9. Ensure correct dispatch of ‘dedicated drivers’ to meet our contractual requirements with customers.
10. Responsible communication to customers via; phone, fax or email
11. Willing to understand and support change, as it relates to processes, structure and business modeling.
12. Any other duties assigned by the Senior Customer Service/Logistics Manager

Job Qualifications and Experience: Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience

- 2 years’ experience in fleet dispatch/customer service
- Experience in Fleet management desiredTechnical Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Ability to work without constant supervision/self-motivated.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Strong time management skills.
- Competent in working independently as well as in a team atmosphere.
- Be an effective listener.
- Punctual and consistent attendance.
- Desire to be on top of your game and be proficient at your job.
- Maintain current/up to date knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Computer system experience with the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willing to understand and support change, as it relates to processes, structure and business modeling.
