Role Description:

We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will lead our efforts in managing and maintaining our network infrastructure and systems that support the bank.  This is a high impact role within the bank that will require someone to have expertise with Cisco products which include routers, Identity Service Engine, Unity, and Call Manager.  We have new Cisco 1140 and 1150 Firewalls that we will need you to install and implement alongside our IT Team.  

While we need to maintain our current on-premise systems, we are looking for someone to grow into a role where they will be our subject matter expert in the newest cloud systems like Nutanix hyper converged infrastructure, VMware, and Citrix.

In this role you will:

• Troubleshoot on-premise Cisco routers, firewalls, load balancers, and VPN’s
• Will work with Meraki Wireless including managing the environment, monitoring health, and performing upgrades
• Manage VMware virtual server systems including maintenance and upgrades, server provisioning, health monitoring, and maintenance of necessary vlans, ACL’s, and Routing.
• Manage Nutanix Hypervisor including the management of Nutanix Clusters, performance upgrades, and health monitoring.
• Lead our effort in implementing our new Citrix environment finalizing settings, orchestrate user testing, and migrate the team to our new environment
• Provide support for our phone systems including the implementation of best practices, on-going maintenance, and troubleshooting including all endpoints and video display units.
• Reinforce security awareness to staff
• Assist in keeping hardware equipment running, see that patches and firmware are current, and stay abreast of technology changes. Track and report on any changes.
• Participate and provide feedback through risk assessments to reduce the overall risks to the bank. 
• Participate in IT audits and review findings and remediate findings
• Prepare reports to the IT Committee as needed.
• Maintain up to date documentation and track changes in environment, as well as document current systems in Visio 
• Report and monitor IT security related systems and document findings
• Provide all tiers of support including help desk when needed
• Work after hours and on weekends as required
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• Bring 10 years of experience working with Cisco products including routers, firewalls ISE, and Call Manager
• CCNP or CCIE Certification
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally to align stakeholders on the goals and deliverables
