Job Title : Bilingual Construction Laborer ( English and French)

Location : Columbus, OHIO

Salary $23-$25 / hr DOE

Day Shift

We're hiring experienced BILINGUAL (ENGLISH AND FRENCH) Constructions Laborers to support and assist Foremen and Superintendents with on-site projects, by filling labor intensive roles in varying capabilities, including but not limited to, performing industrial cleaning, commercial light construction, material removal.

Responsibilities :

• Depalletization, removal of large debris
• Assist in set up and tear down of equipment
• Gather proper tools needed to perform the tasks being completed, and have the knowledge of these tools and their applications
• Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
• Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists and work crew
• Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
• Regularly required to repetitively use hands to : push, pull, use fingers, bend and twist wrists
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Construction ( or similar) experience
• Must speak and understand French and English
• Ability to safely lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and / or walk up to 75% of the time on the job
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to be on time
• Ability to Squat, kneel, bend, reach, pull, walk, climb continuously for up to 8 hours a day
• Excellent communication, organizational and listening skills
• Able to work in various weather conditions including not limiting : sun, rain, and wind
• Self-motivated to learn new skills and trades
• Ability to work Overtime, Saturday's and some Sundays
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to commute to jobsite location
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Must be able to stand, lift and work outside in all weather conditions
• All candidates must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check
