MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION- Process Equipment and Conveyors
This is an apprentice entry level maintenance position for a world class industrial support services group.
Primary Function:
Individual must be able to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to process equipment. Will also take care of work order requests that are at the semi-skilled maintenance level as assigned by the assembly maintenance group.
Job Description:
To perform service calls and planned maintenance on AGVs (Auto Guide Vehicles), line equipment, overhead carriers, and occasionally provide production support in a manual backup role.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of related maintenance experience or degree in related maintenance field.
- Mechanical aptitude- maintenance and repair of bearings, belts, chains, changing out rollers, etc.
- Minor electrical understanding is strongly preferred
- Knowledge in safe use of basic hand tools.
- Good computer skills are required for completion of work orders.
- Good computer skills in troubleshooting software issues with AGVs.
- Good electronic troubleshooting.
- Be able to identify electrical componets.
- Good verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Ability to interface with customers in a professional manner
- Willing to work 2nd shift
