Leader Auto Center is a family-oriented, full-service auto shop located in Anna, TX. We specialize in quality work and extraordinary customer service. We strive to be a one-stop shop for minor maintenance such as oil changes, to major work such as transmission repair or engine replacement. We work quickly to diagnose any problems our customer’s vehicles may be experiencing, and also take time to answer any questions about the repair process before work begins.

Typical Work Hours

• Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch.
• Longer hours may need to be worked, on an as-needed basis.

$30 - $40 hourly

• Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
• Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach
• Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
• Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the work assigned to you. This includes but is not limited to:

• First and foremost, you are a Leader Automotive Center employee. The leadership team will find the highest and best use of your skillset to fit the needs of the company
• Maintain Constant Awareness of time management to maximize efficiency
• Vehicle Diagnostics Repair recommendations are based on proper diagnostics and the budget of the customer
• Dedicate time for proper learning, to ensure you understand vehicle systems and their operation design
• Quality Control of all your work and those around you
• Always maintain a Professional Appearance
• Assist in receiving parts and supplies for the shop
• Assist in proper vehicle lift training and usage, to ensure all techs/vehicles are safe while in service
• Communicating with the Shop Foreman to Schedule and Prioritize all work based on difficulty, bay availability, time involved, parts availability, and the needs of the customer
• Communicate with customers on the detail of repair
• Communicate with other levels of management to ensure the best course of action
• Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels, facility maintenance, and general shop cleanliness
• Leading with a great attitude and culture in the shop

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Excellent customer service and communications skills are necessary
• Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus
• ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive

• Ability to learn and grow as a service tech with the constant change of new options on vehicles
• Must own basic hand tools and toolbox
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Must possess good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be able to work on all Domestic and Foreign vehicles including Diesel
