Summary
The Commercial Loan Servicing Team Lead is responsible for the oversight of commercial loan servicing processes. This role ensures the accurate preparation of data for onboarding loans into our systems and ensures that compliance and operational requirements are met. In addition, the lead is responsible for motivating and helping to manage the team, provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers, daily review of loan data, file maintenance and periodic audits.
Responsibilities
- Mange the new loan set-up, modifications, and various file maintenance process
- Ensure accurate remittance to participating institutions
- Manage the SBA servicing portfolio – ensuring all reporting requirements are met and custodial accounts are reconciled monthly
- Review the payoff process from quote to transaction processing
- Ensure all Commercial discharges are prepared accurately and timely
- Update Loan Indexes and ensure rate adjustments are accurate
- Mange the annual escrow analysis process for Commercial Loans
- Review daily reports and make necessary adjustments
- Report writing (Business Analytics software and Excel)
- Assist with management of the year-end reporting
- Ensure effective communication with other business units
- Respond to internal and clients calls and emails
Qualifications
- 5-10 years Commercial Loan experience
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees
- Strong motivator of people / ability to manage a diverse group of people
- Understanding of Commercial Loan Documentation
- Audit / Loan Review experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, accuracy with numbers, and attention to details essential
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proactive individual able to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Quick learner and ability to manage multiple priorities
