Position Summary
The Project Manager (PM) will coordinate IT projects and similar types of projects that require IT planning support, to include planning, organizing, managing, and reviewing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific projects, goals, and objectives at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ. The Project Manager will be responsible for all facets of program delivery and overall customer satisfaction.
Individuals must be able to attain and maintain a valid US Government security clearance to be retained in the position.

Duties & Responsibilities*

Plans defines, and integrates the interdependencies of various IT/Cyber Security programs, budgetary requirements, funding profiles, and prioritization of requirements for the NEC
- Maintains a comprehensive IT Master Plan comprised of new system program plans, existing equipment modernization plans, and projected IT requirements
- Reviews IT requirements to ensure installation architectural compatibility (e.g., Requirements Documents, Information Technology Approval System (ITAS)
- Work with Project Managers on project implementation plans and schedules to deliver projects on time
- Interface with team members and approved vendors (telecommunications, architects, cabling, and electrical) as authorized to ensure that all infrastructure, transport facilities, space requirements for equipment, and electrical power requirements are documented and installed on schedule
- Provide project management support for IT and telecommunications projects; develop and track plans and schedules; provide stakeholder updates
- Utilizes independent judgment and the flexibility to accurately coordinate multiple projects with frequent interruptions
- Utilizes SharePoint, Project, and Remedy to document and track projects
- Interviews customers and documents customer IT practices.
- Supports the Service Level Agreement (SLA) process
- Assists the Government in ensuring that all current and future customer services are delivered in accordance with Government negotiated, agreed, and achievable targets.
- Assists the Government in documenting and developing SLAs for operational services, supports the constant cycle of monitoring, reporting, and reviewing of Service Level Performance. Make recommendations to correct and improve service levels.
- Provides subject matter expertise for SharePoint portal support to NEC.
- Develops processes and procedures to enable the NEC to gain efficiencies in service delivery, provide quality customer service, and provide process improvement in accordance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 quality standards and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best business practices.

Education & Experience Requirements*

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer, Telecommunications or related field; equivalent related technical experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 7 years of project management experience.
- PMP / Project / telco / IT cert such as Net / A

Project Management, Telecommunications or IT Support Experience
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with management and peers.
- Excellent customer interface, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Utilize interpersonal skills when interacting with multiple contractors and government organizations.
- The position requires sitting, for long periods of time. (Sedentary Work)
- Most duties require extended use of a keyboard and computer monitor

- May require lifting of 20-50 lbs
