JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Player Engagement Specialist. What is that you might ask? It’s a customer experience specialist who can not only be a team player and bring their background and skills to the team, but they can get in on the action and make/take calls like a regular sales agent. This player/coach agent will be well-versed in being an empathetic customer support agent as well to become part of our team for the various Fantasy sports leagues.
As a player on the Support team, you will:
- Be part of a collaborative team using email, chat, and phone support to rapidly resolve issues, tickets and inquiries, meet/exceed expectations, and deliver outstanding support to our growing community of avid sports and NFT fans
- Think creatively and passionately about ways in which we can make every user interaction meaningful and provide the best experience possible
- Use technical ability to master our internal systems, review accounts, troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Help share user insights and trends to all areas of the business including product, marketing, and operations
- Monitor for critical site issues and escalate to the proper channels to ensure a speedy resolution
Minimum Requirements:
- 1 year of professional customer service specialist experience
- 1 year of call center experience
- “White Glove” level of professionalism online customer support experience
- A passion for knowing or learning NFTs
- A love for Fantasy Sports and deep knowledge of sports in general
- A desire to keep our customers insanely satisfied
- A quick and creative problem-solving mind
- Ability to learn and adapt to changing software
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on writing skills
- Experience chatting with people (retail, teaching, etc)
- Empathy, curiosity, humility, and flexibility
- Enthusiasm for varied responsibilities
- Availability to work flexible hours that include nights and weekends
Major Bonus Points:
- Former high school or college athlete that understands the sports mindset
- Experience in using a PBX (call center phone experience)
- Knowledge of and passion for Fantasy Sports
- Experience and proficiency with help desk software (ZenDesk)
- Great attention to detail and highly organized
- Multi-tasking abilities with a focus on quality of work
- Superior interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
