The Trader will work directly with our Investment Team and participate in Investment Committee meetings. There is room for growth in this position to take on additional and more complex investment tasks, leading to the Portfolio Management Associate position.
Responsibilities
- Current vs. proposed portfolio analyses
- Trading – block trading and one-offs
- Cash requirements – negative balances, NSFs, management fees
- Data input, editing, and upkeep in Black Diamond
- Assist with meeting prep for client investment meetings
- Participation in Investment Committee
- Categorizing new assets
- Compliance reporting
- Assist with portfolio analysis and quarterly commentary
- Responding to client stock inquiries
- Stock options spreadsheets
- 401(k)/529 review
Requirements
- 3 years in a detail-oriented position
- Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential client information
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team and prioritize tasks appropriately
- Ability to manage your own time
- High attention to detail

- The salary range for this position will be $75K-90K based on experience

Qualified candidates will start the process by having a 15-30 minute phone interview conducted by our consultant who is the hiring manager for this position. If there is ground to move forward, you will be required to fill out a Career History Form and if you are selected to advance in the process, you will meet with the firm. Qualified candidates will be asked to take assessments on detail orientation, and a Caliper assessment.
