Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:
The Configuration Analyst, Principal reporting to the Salesforce Center of Excellence -Manager, will play a key role in the digital transformation of Blue Shield of California. This hands-on role will be accountable for developing solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, user requirements and organizational goals.
- Lead the implementation of the end-to-end business solution, including all areas of configuration and partner with IT on interfaces, extracts, or extensions
- Be accountable for Salesforce complex configuration and overall testing of the most complex system and configuration elements and produces test script documents to support testing outcomes
- Leverages agile methodology and skill in business solution design to drive business requirements workshops and story writing
- Develop the most complex Salesforce configuration methodology to support solution selection and develops documented solutions and processes using appropriate documentation protocols
- Continually evaluate and analyze complex Salesforce applications and business processes cross-functionally. analyze system business impacts and risks. make recommendations for improvements and modifications to ensure optimum functioning of implemented systems
- Import data into Salesforce as
- Provide day-to-day Salesforce configuration guidance to requirements gathering sessions, while gaining deep functional/business operations knowledge, application configuration, information management, and operational support
- Conduct testing to validate platform is functioning as expected
- Document requirements and changes made on platform
- Support the management of Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups needed
- Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases
Required Skills (top 3 to 5/ non-negotiables):
Requires at least 7 years of experience in a Salesforce configuration analyst role
Experience with complex Salesforce implementations and enterprise systems
Required Salesforce advance administrator certification
Able to work in a strong collaborative environment
Nice to have Skills:
Health Cloud experience
Healthcare knowledge
