Sr. iOS Developer

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior iOS Developer to join our team and contribute to the evolution of our SalesPro iPad app. As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate closely with the server and web development teams to architect and implement innovative features aligned with the strategic initiatives of our Product Team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for the SalesPro iPad app, ensuring seamless integration with server-side components and web services. 

• Participate actively in the migration process from Objective-C to Swift, leveraging your knowledge of Swift to ensure a smooth and efficient transition. 

• Collaborate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality, performance, and best practices within the iOS development team. 

• Provide feature estimates and suggestions on improvement of the application. 

• Attend and participate in planning, stand-ups, and internal product demos. 

• Assist the product and support teams in diagnosing and addressing any operational issues identified in the iOS application. 

• Collaborate regularly with the Product Development team to develop and test the interactions between the iPad application and the cloud-based servers. 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

• Strong proficiency in Swift, with a history of architecting and implementing complex, user-centered applications. 

• Proficiency in Foundation and UIKit frameworks, ensuring exceptional user interfaces and seamless interactions. 

• Familiarity with Git for version control and Jira for project management. 

• Previous involvement in code reviews, with an eye for maintaining code quality and team collaboration. 

• Possess experience with the Core Data API and a thorough understanding of the iOS SDK. 

• Ability to analyze trade-offs between design and implementation options, clearly articulating solution strategies and the technical complexities linked with each. 

• Understanding of the application life cycle, including publishing to the App Store. 

• Knowledge of security best practices at the application, network, and server levels. 

• A working knowledge of backend services, particularly RESTful APIs. 

• Experience with defining and implementing unit tests. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

• Familiarity with Objective-C, particularly in migrating apps from Objective-C to Swift. 

• Exposure to PromiseKit and the Parse Platform, while not obligatory, is advantageous. 

• Prior experience in mobile application design and e-commerce design. 

• Ability to wireframe and actively participate in requirements gathering and product design processes.
