POSITION TITLE: Field Recruiter
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Field Recruiter will identify large volumes of qualified candidates to fill a variety of open positions. Their primary responsibilities will include sourcing candidates, screening and shortlisting qualified candidates for interviews, interviewing them, and managing communications with all applicants.
The Field Recruiter will develop and execute effective recruitment strategies that will help streamline the mass hiring process and ensure that open positions are filled with top-performers within the proposed deadlines.
They will identify opportunities to build applicant pools, establish trust and partnerships with the managers, identify potential “fit” through effective interviewing and testing, effectively administer the interviewing and onboarding process, and ensure a positive new hire experience. Developing and executing recruitment plans and strategies are primary responsibilities to ensure hiring goals are met with the best possible talent. ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the mass hiring process by sourcing, screening and shortlisting, and interviewing candidates.
- Perform background checks, investigate references, and assess candidates’ competencies to determine whether they are a good fit for the role.
- Handle communications with a wide variety of candidates.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to draw in a large number of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with Human Resources Managers and Hiring Managers to determine position requirements for open vacancies.
- Create and post job ads on various job boards, hiring platforms, and forums.
- Help with the onboarding of new hires.
- Travel to other office locations, job fairs, on-campus recruiting, and other community events to promote the company.
- Collaborate with HR/Payroll Team to identify needs and then recommend and implement solutions/best practices.
- Provide monthly/quarterly recruiting reports to the leadership team.
- High energy level and a sense of creativity to effectively match candidates with the company's needs, and to positively portray the Company and its employee-ownership culture, values, and priorities.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
- A good understanding of sourcing and selection techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Team and especially with Excel and Word as well as a familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems. Prior experience with TalentReef and ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a High-Volume Recruiter or a similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Thorough understanding of the best talent acquisition tools, processes, and practices
- Strong social media technology background.
- Proven ability to develop and manage strong relationships with a broad range of individuals at various levels of the organization.
- Strong interview skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask while maintaining composure in a fastpaced environment.
- Able to work collaboratively and openly with cross-functional business leaders.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality, and manage sensitive information.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong team-building skills and be a positive contributor in a team environment.
- Available to work before and after standard office hours as work requires.
- Ability to travel to attend career fairs/events, and conferences as necessary.
