IT INCIDENT MANAGER
JOB LOCATION SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN -WORLD HEADQUARTERS

As a member of the Global Support Services Team, the IT Incident Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of the IT service lifecycle, particularly focusing on incident and problem management processes. The goal is to minimize the impact of incidents and problems on business operations and to prevent the recurrence of incidents by addressing the root causes.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

• Oversee the incident management process and ensure compliance with ITIL standards.
• Coordinate with IT support teams to resolve incidents swiftly and minimize impact on business operations.
• Lead problem management efforts to investigate root causes and implement permanent fixes.
• Develop and maintain incident and problem management policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Conduct regular reviews of incidents and problems to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT service management functions to ensure a seamless service experience.
• Provide regular reports to IT management on incident trends, problem analysis, and resolution effectiveness.
• Facilitate post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement within the IT service management framework.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology
• 5 years of experience managing incident or problem response teams
• ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills

Bonus If You Have:

• Automotive industry experience
• ITIL Professional, Leader, or Master Certifications
• Master's degree
• Fluency in multiple languages
