What are the responsibilities and job description for the Planned Giving Clerk position at Lear Corporation?
The Planned Giving Clerk will provide clerical support to Planned Giving during the summer. This position is TEMPORARY.
Administrative:
- Research details of uncashed Charitable Gift Annuity checks in BoA Account 2018-2021. After review many of these payments will be sent to unclaimed property.
- Contact donors with uncashed Charitable Gift Annuity checks issued by BNY Mellon 2021-2022, updating their information if needed, using scripts provided.
- Contact donors receiving Charitable Gift Annuity payments by check to explain and encourage payment by ACH or wire delivery using scripts provided.
- File gift annuity documents.
- Organize deceased annuitant files. These permanent files need to be organized by name, boxed, and sent to the storage area in the parking garage.
- Make copies as needed/requested.
Education:
High school graduate
Experience:
Ability to use scanner, copy machine, computer, and printer
Skills:
- Follow directions

- Understanding of office administration procedures and protocols
- Work effectively in a team atmosphere
