Essential Functions

- Follow all safety standards.
- Operate assigned looms to produce fabric with minimal defects.
- Operate assigned looms at highest efficiency.
- Creel filling yarn.
- Repair stops both warp and filling and restart loom.
- Inspect fabric for any defects.
- Repair cause of defect
- Flag loom for Technician if repair requires additional attention.
- Perform other duties assigned by Lead Person, Supervisor or Manager.
- Work within a team
- Work as an individual
- Maintains safe and clean work environment and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to set up, thread and operate weaving machines.
- Read, write, and speak and understand in English, in order to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
- Effectively organize, set priorities, schedule assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities.
- Manual dexterity – ability to tie knots.
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel for long periods.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
