Scheduling Coordinator

Learn, Play, Grow Children’s Therapy Services is looking for a full-time bilingual Scheduling Coordinator at its outpatient pediatric therapy clinic. Your key responsibilities:

• Communicating with clients regarding the scheduling of appointments for evaluations and therapy
• Working with the clinical manager, therapists, and clients to develop an optimal schedule that maximizes effectiveness
• Identifying potential scheduling conflicts and resolutions
• Maintaining a positive relationship with both current and potential clients

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma required, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
• Communication: Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Software Knowledge: The ability to use Microsoft Office and Google Drive, and enter information into spreadsheets and electronic medical systems is required.
• Experience: One year in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Equipment Used: Must be able to operate a multi-line telephone, fax machine, copier, computer, and calculator.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

• Must have an outgoing and friendly personality and must be able to communicate clearly. They must also be a "people-person".
• Able to communicate effectively with both verbal and written communication. Must have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to accurately record, manage, and oversee data.
• Able to read, understand, and follow both written and oral instructions.
• Able to sort and file materials correctly by alphabetical, numerical, or color-coded systems.
• Must display initiative and a willingness to accept additional duties in the front office area during absences and must be able to adapt to a fluctuating workload.
• Should be hardworking and have the ability to resolve any communication issues that may occur.
• Able to multi-task with precise attention to detail and establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
