Redwoods Leavitt Insurance Agency in Eureka, CA is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Agent for their office. This is a full -time position. Hourly pay dependent on experience.
Must have current Insurance License in the State of CA.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a high paced and energetic interactive level with the agent, coworkers and clients.
This position will be responsible for providing prompt service to existing and new clients while having good people and strong interpersonal communication skills. Strong written, verbal, listening skills and the ability to multi-task are critical. Great interpersonal skills coupled with being service oriented while being self-motivated and detail oriented.
Duties include:
- Obtaining appropriate information to provide group benefits summaries and proposals for new and existing clients and to make changes as needed.
- Keep client records up to date in management system.
- Process renewals in a timely manner.
- Processing insurance transactions.
- Advising customers on coverage.
- Provide Claims and billing help as needed.
- Servicing existing clients and new potential clients.
- Strong client service skills
- Office computer skills
- Developing and maintaining carrier relationship.
