The Opportunity
We are looking for a Field Technician with good mechanical background or automotive mechanic experience to join our team! Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of equipment as well as promoting customer growth and developing new accounts. Additional duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Communicate with the supervisor for on the job expectations
- Communicate estimated labor times
- Look for additional repair opportunities on retail jobs
- Fill out work order forms for each job and secure customer signatures
- Complete all necessary warranty paperwork as instructed by the warranty administrator
- In the event of a safety incident, complete all necessary paperwork
- Track and follow-up on parts for ongoing jobs
- Ensure all parts are present before traveling to site

The Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, assertive, computer literate, able to work under little or no supervision, and have excellent communication and customer relation skills. You must have a driver’s license with a good driving record and must provide your own tools. You may also obtain the following qualifications/skills:
- 2 - 3 years diagnosing and repairing experience with good trouble shooting skills
- Previous Aerial & Lift Truck experience is a strong asset
- General ability to perform repairs on LP systems, diesel systems, reading and repairing hydraulic and electrical schematics and systems
- Clear communication skills
- Able to contribute positively in a team oriented environment

Salary : $51,400 - $65,000
