What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Assistant position at LED Supply Co. LLC?
LED Supply Co. is a wholesale distributor of lighting products. We are currently looking to hire a new warehouse assistant / delivery driver that will be charged with warehouse organization, inventory tracking, shipping, receiving and deliveries.
Daily Tasks:
- Delivering product to local customers & job sites
- Organizing warehouse
- Track and receive shipments into inventory
- Process outgoing shipments
- Staging inventory for projects
- Keeping up-to-date, accurate inventory
- Keeping warehouse and truck clean
Requirements:
- Able to lift heavy boxes up to 45 lbs
- Valid drivers license and ability to drive a 24' box truck (No CDL required)
- Punctual & reliable
- OSHA forklift certificate (not immediately required)
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- One to two years of warehouse and inventory experience
- Experience with inventory software Netsuite or similar.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- Extremely organized
- Good at working with others
- Customer service skills both on the phone and in person
Hours & Compensation
- Monday - Friday 8:00 - 5:00
- Hourly wage between $17.00 - $18.00/hour
