Job Summary:
The Warehouse Materials Coordinator will plan, schedule, coordinate and manage the flow and inventory of materials and equipment in order to meet project and field operations needs.Join our team in Grants Pass, Oregon!
Essential Responsibilities:
- Seeks out best practices and ensure processes and procedures are established and followed
- Ability to safely operate a forklift when needed
- Inventory control and order selection
- Assisting technicians with loading material
- Assist in warehouse safety, cleanliness and waste disposal
- Establishes, monitors and updates key performance indicators (KPI's)
- Communicates material delivery schedules to all operations
- Develops and performs audits to monitor consistency
- Releases materials from the warehouse as directed by the construction team, ensures all signed documents are uploaded into the proper systems
- Perform material inventory audits
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience in a supply chain, materials or material handler position in a high volume environment
- Knowledge of supply chain, inventory, warehousing, transport, logistics, ERP and/or MRP
- ability to communicate well with management, colleagues, suppliers, and client representatives
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite
- Supply Chain formal training / certification an asset. (ex. APICS, CSCP)
- Forklift Operator Certification is an asset
