Insurance Agency Specialist – Rating
Our Portsmouth, NH client is seeking a vibrant, motivated team player for their entry-level Insurance Agency Specialist role. This full-time position offers lots of opportunities for growth within the company and would be perfect for go-getter, career-driven individuals!

Responsibilities of the Insurance Agency Specialist – Rating

  • Review new business and renewal applications
  • Review requests for policy changes
  • Verify all pertinent information to produce accurate quotes, policies, and endorsements
  • Research and obtain missing rating information by utilizing all resources provided
  • Perform calculations to produce accurate and timely quotes and premium charges by using carrier rating systems and other rating sources provided by company
  • Maintain rating manuals
  • Review and implement carrier bulletins and release notes
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Insurance Agency Specialist – Rating

  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

The Insurance Agency Specialist works Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm for $45,000-$50,000/year, DOE. We look forward to hearing from you!
