Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Financial Analyst to analyze past and present financial data and make recommendations for improvement. Duties will include collecting internal and external data to inform decision making, writing financial reports, and understanding trends affecting our product, industry, and company. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data: Review historical and current financial data, financial statements, and capital expenditures to understand the company's financial status
- Develop models: Create predictive financial models to help with decision making and track cash flow
- Identify gaps: Analyze processes to find areas for improvement, such as ways to increase profit margins
- Set benchmarks: Establish benchmarks for financial processes
- Monitor data: Track financial data to alert stakeholders if there are any deviations, create complex financial models, reports and dashboards that provide insights for decision-making
- Support close: Perform select month-end close tasks and book subsequent entries
- Research trends: Study industry-specific research and data to predict trends
- Create reports: Use financial software, spreadsheets, and other tools to write and present reports and projections in an understandable format
- Collaborate: Work with colleagues and advise key decision makers using strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ad-hoc assistance: Support ad-hoc projects and reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
- 2 years experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably in a CPG or manufacturing environment
- Prior D2C & B2B distribution experience is preferred
- Familiarity with financial programs and software (PowerBI and NetSuite, preferably)
- Strong Excel skills and ability to manage large data sets
- Understanding of principles of Accounting
- Understanding of principles of finance
- Ability to leverage data to drive recommendations
- Ability to influence and persuade senior stakeholders

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
