Compensation: $120,000 - $162,000 Discretionary Annual Bonus
Position Summary:
The Finance Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing finance system business problems and implementing solutions in our corporate technology platforms. The business analyst supports the finance user community, elicit, configure, manage requirements and specifications as well as execute a variety of testing disciplines (test plans, scripts, unit testing and user acceptance) to drive development and validate results. This role is both strategic and hands on with a strong ability to communicate objectives, configure finance systems, develop plans and deliver results.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver requirements, product configuration and user acceptance testing management.
- Evaluate the solution options, configure, demo, and make recommendations within context of finance D365 & other tech platforms.
- Work with global finance teams to deliver product configuration and support that can scale across countries.
- Manage small projects related to finance platforms
- Facilitate requirements review and design sessions with business owners
- Maintain Business Use Case and Process Flows with requirement changes
- Liaison between the business and technical solutions delivery team
- Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized technical and business presentations
- Deliver daily and weekly progress metrics
- Train users in using the system according to process best practices
- Provide business as usual support
Required Experience:
- 5 years of experience configuring, administering, managing, and maintaining D365 AX ERP system and hands-on expeirnece support D365 Finance & Operations modules, including finance accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable & finance reporting modules
- Prior experience implementing and integrating auxiliary and third-party applications with D365 AX/F&O
- Advanced skills with MS Excel, including data validation, pivot tables and reporting financial data
- Excellent communication (written & verbal), collaboration, business presentations and meeting facilitation
- Strong working knowledge of D365 business workflow modeling, business use cases, & process flows
- Deep understanding of project/product planning for D365 ERP
- Thorough understanding of GAAP accounting and SOX compliance
- Hands-on expeirnece working with source control, unit testing, and continuous integration practices. Experience with Jira and Azure DevOps preferred.
- Well-versed with relational database design, management, and analysis. (i.e. SQL)
Desired Experience:
- Experience with planning tools such as Oracle HFM, Workiva
- Experience using SAP Concur
- Skilled with SQL querying
- Experience with Lean and Agile (Scrum) development methodologies
