Job Description
Position Summary:
The Network Operations Center (NOC) Operator I provides continuous 24x7 monitoring and incident response for all products including all Infrastructure and applications supporting the products. This position handles tier 1/2 support for systems/application administrators as needed for installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
The Network Operations Center provides the company 24/7 coverage and Operators are expected to work outside normal business hours to include weekends and holidays.
Education and/or Experience:
For consideration candidates will need a
Computer Skills
* MS Windows, Linux, other operating system knowledge
* Familiarity with ITIL and Ticketing systems
* Basic Cisco command line tasks
* Familiarity with Patch Management
* Familiarity with Virtual Infrastructure and Hypervisors
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
* CISCO CCENT and/or Microsoft Certification Professional (MCP) preferred

Education and/or Experience:
For consideration candidates will need a
- High school diploma (or equivalent combination of education and experience) required; Associates degree or technical college certification preferred
- Must have at least 2 - 4 years' related experience in a technical support role or closely related experience to the job duties listed
