Job Summary: Systems Engineer

We are seeking a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability, integrity, and efficiency of our office-based and cloud-based infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include administering our office networks, managing cloud solutions, and providing technical support to end-users.

Location: Sacramento Downtown

Type: Direct Hire (no contract period)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

Work Schedule: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer office WAN/LAN, Unifi Networking, and WiFi.
• Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN.
• Handle cloud infrastructure administration (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Manage Windows Servers, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and G-Suite.
• Administer infrastructure monitoring and logging systems.
• Ensure security and access permissions for groups and individuals.
• Manage infrastructure backups, restoration, and disaster recovery testing.
• Provision, manage, and de-provision user groups and accounts.
• Document infrastructure, networks, systems, and procedures.
• Provide Tier-2 technical support remotely via phone, email, ticketing system, and Zoom.

Essential Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced Unifi Networking administration skills.
• Experience with GCP and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in backups, recovery, and disaster recovery.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment.
• Highly self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Okta, Zoom, Office 365, Slack, and G-Suite.
• Understanding of MacOS and iOS is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ironscales, FreshService, and Salesforce is advantageous.
• Experience with Zoom VoIP/Zoom call center is beneficial.
