The Senior Staff Accountant will accurately perform a wide range of daily accounting activities that supports the department's mission of producing accurate financial reporting that guides managers and directors in making tactical and strategic decisions.

The Required Skills/Abilities of the Senior Staff Accountant are:
- 5-7 years of accounting experience, preferably in an Accountant position
- The Senior Staff Accountant must have extensive knowledge of general financial accounting (manufacturing environment would be helpful)
- Highly proficient with accounting software - ERP systems, QuickBooks, etc.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in the other Microsoft Office Suite programs or similar software.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with inventory, freight labor, and cost accounting experience helpful
Duties/Responsibilities:
- The Senior Staff Accountant performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
- Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements using a combination of ERP system and software tools to customize reports (Crystal, Excel, F9, Quickbooks) for multiple business entities.
- The Senior Staff Accoutnant processes monthly journal entries and balance sheet schedules.
- Administers and processes AR and collections activities.
- Processes AP invoices and sets up new Vendor accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Reviews/approves expense reports and reconciles the credit card (Currently using Concur Software).
- Acts as a backup to the Controller
