Staff Accountant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, analyzing financial data, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Prior experience in a non-profit preferred. Must have prior experience as accountant, as well as strong ERP/systems background. Role is onsite/hybrid.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with relevant regulations.
Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
-Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
-Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Salary: $80k annual
