What are the responsibilities and job description for the Web Designer position at LEDVANCE?
This assignment is anticipated to last 6 months or longer. The role could be a contractor paid through a 3rd party agency or a direct employee as a co-op assignment (new grads included). The role will be Monday - Friday, with full-time hours and will be expected to be in-office 3 days per week. All candidates must include a portfolio to be considered.

The Role
- We are looking for a talented and ambitious interactive designer with the ability to design, communicate and execute world-class creative across digital mediums.
- Working with our internal creative services department you will be actively involved and ultimately responsible for developing digital content that aligns with LEDVANCE product offerings and consistently pushing creative boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop compelling interactive content that meet strategic objectives for LEDVANCE across a broad range of products and use cases.
- Using CEROS, under Senior Designer art direction, create unique, interactive content that showcases the brand's personality and value in a visually compelling way.
- Collaborate with Senior Designers, Lead Designers, Project Managers and PM to define visual direction, and to produce creative solutions that fulfill our strategic needs.
- Ensure all deliverables are of the highest creative standards and adhere to interactive best practices.
- Assist in the creation of wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Practical stuff we anticipate you having
- 2-3 years of design experience specializing in interactive and visual design
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in other design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
- Understanding of design principles and how to apply them.
- Knowledge of interaction design and user-centered experience design, including the fundamentals of information architecture, hierarchy, and layout
- Experience with the Ceros platform or similar interactive content creation tools a plus
- Working knowledge of animations and motion graphics a plus
- Experience working with Adobe Workfront a plus.
- The ability to both work autonomously and collaborate as a team
- Excellent organizational skills; an ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail
- An eagerness to learn and a 'find a way' attitude.
- Experience working in the constraints of corporate brand guidelines.
- A portfolio of design work is required for consideration.
- Relocation and/or work sponsorship are not available with this role.
