Job Title: Deep Reach Forklift Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deep Reach Forklift Driver to join our team at Lee Kum Kee (USA) Inc. in Southern California. As a Deep Reach Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating electrical power industrial trucks or liquid propane gas (LPG) sit-down and stand-up forklifts with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to transport and stock products, equipment, or materials to designated locations.
- Ship orders, pull orders, verify orders against packing slips, and log shipping orders.
- Load trucks with pallets, boxes, and drums.
- Receive shipments, unload shipments, verify shipments, sort and separate goods, and log goods received.
- Perform inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Perform internal housekeeping, including changing batteries, recharging batteries, and cleaning working areas.
- Perform all duties in a safe and careful manner at all times.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum of three months forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Industry forklift certificate is a must.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend simple English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with ability to operate in units of US currency, and measure in units of volume, and distance.
Work Environment:
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
