What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Bookkeeper position at Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy?
Lee Silsby Compounding Pharmacy is located in a state-of-the-art facility in Beachwood, Ohio. We are an industry-leading compounding pharmacy specializing in Sterile Medications, Functional Medicine, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Bioidentical Hormone Replacement, Pain Management, Lyme Disease, Veterinary medicine, Pediatrics, and Dermatology. We are licensed to dispense medications to 45 states, including California and Texas.
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person that wants to help grow our company. We value a strong work/life balance; flexible schedule. The hours and days worked will be flexible but will likely range between 25-35 hours/week. Must be located in Northeast Ohio and willing to work onsite each week.
The candidate will provide bookkeeping and accounting on a weekly and monthly basis. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, entering invoices and bank transactions, handling accounts payable/receivable, expense tracking, cash flow management, tax filings, general ledger, bank reconciliations, preparing daily and weekly dashboards, and preparing monthly statements (or as needed for management review).

Requirements:
- Onsite work in Beachwood, OH each week. Some remote work is possible
- 5 years of bookkeeping / accounting experience for small to mid-size companies.
- 3 years experience working in QuickBooks (must have desktop experience; Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor would be a plus).
- Experience in inventory control a plus.
- Proficient in Excel and Word (i.e. should be able to download from QB, create multiple tabs, develop budgets, develop formulas).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (will consider Associate Degree in Accounting if candidate has 5 years experience performing similar duties).
- Must be able to work independently and enjoy a challenge.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
The expected hourly rate is between $25 to $30 per hour, based on experience and degree.
