Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a marketing and visitor services coordinator.
POSITION OVERVIEW:

This position will be responsible for the Leech Lake Area Chamber of Commerce’s social media and will work closely with all visitors who stop at our office. Duties include fielding telephone calls, word processing, knowledge of many social media platforms. A willingness to learning member database, Chamber Master, as well as knowledge of our local area and strong communications skills are mandatory. Manages the chamber’s lobby area, greets and directs visitors, and is involved in events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Membership and Marketing

1. Update and maintain all multi-media including Facebook and Twitter etc.

2. Generate reports for the president, board and various committees.

3. Maintain Chamber Mailing Service Membership and Mailing

a. Enter and distribute daily the leads that come into the office.

b. Prepare mailings for leads.

Event Coordination

1. Help to plan and execute all chamber events.

2. Meet and work with event committees as needed.

3. Handle advertisement of events including website, newsletter and all multi-media

Customer Service

1. Answer the telephone in a prompt and courteous manner.

2. Fill requests for information in a timely manner.

3. Take reservations for chamber sponsored events.

4. Handle complaints. If needed, direct them to the President.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

  • Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Walker, MN 56484 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Walker, MN 56484: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
