Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Responsibilities: - Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes - Utilize industry-specific software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to generate detailed cost estimates - Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing to ensure competitive pricing for projects - Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and identify areas for cost control - Prepare comprehensive proposals that outline project scope, schedule, and cost breakdowns - Review contracts and ensure compliance with pricing agreements - Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide expertise on cost estimation Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred - Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry - Proficient in using estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam - Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes - Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications - Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers - Solid understanding of project management principles - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal At our company, we offer competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
