Installer Job Description
Position Summary:
The Installer is responsible for installing and configuring a variety of products and systems for our clients. This includes analyzing project requirements, planning installations, assembling components, and ensuring proper functionality. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Essential Functions (Other duties as assigned):
- Inspects and assembles materials and articles to specified standards.
- Performs installations of products and systems at client sites according to project specifications and timelines.
- Collaborates with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Assembles and connects components, following technical diagrams, blueprints, or instructions provided.
- Provides training to clients on the use and maintenance of installed products, ensuring their understanding and satisfaction.
- Works under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Practices good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite.
- Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
- Comply with all Leeman Company’s policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements.
- Proactively communicates job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job to the appropriate person.
- Maintains accurate records of installation activities, including documentation of configurations, equipment used, and any modifications made.
- Adheres to safety protocols and regulations during installations to ensure a secure and hazard-free work environment.
Education and Required Skills:
- 1 years’ experience in related field
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in installation work.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions.
- Ability to take accurate measurements.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform installation tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and climbing ladders.
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and/or tablet/iPad experience
- Ability to adapt to varying work schedules. This includes evenings, on call and weekends when requested.
- Willingness to travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Ensures attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information.
Working Condition:
Installers work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, residential or commercial buildings, and manufacturing facilities. They may be exposed to different weather conditions, dust, noise, and other potential hazards. Adhering to safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear is essential.
This may require commuting within a local area or even traveling to distant locations. Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing work environments are important. Installers may need to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime to meet project deadlines or accommodate client needs. The ability to work flexible hours and handle occasional time constraints is necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
