Title: Campus Operations Specialist, Campus Motor Pool, and Shuttle Coordinator

Essential Functions
- Supervises Campus Operations Specialist Shuttle Driver by planning, assigning, prioritizing, reviewing, and evaluating their work activities.
- Manages the daily operations of the Campus motor pool and Shuttle service through monitoring, directing, coordinating, and inspecting activities to ensure compliance of policies and procedures.
- Establishes maintenance and servicing schedules of vehicles and equipment based on mileage, repair, and life cycle of vehicles and equipment.
- Tracks the servicing and preventive maintenance activities of all motor pool vehicles through inspection forms, invoices, and spreadsheets.
- Oversee employees engaged in servicing and preventive maintenance activities of vehicles and equipment.
- Coordinates preventive maintenance and repair status of vehicles and equipment with a garage supervisor.
- Assists in determining the need and feasibility for making major and minor repairs on equipment through records of service reports.
- Tracks repair, cleaning, and policy violation costs of vehicles in motor pool by using a service report to invoice the appropriate departments.
- Oversees the booking of vehicles to the Campus Community to ensure compliance of procedures and appropriate billing.
- Reviews specifications for new vehicles and equipment.
- Assists in ordering new equipment and equipment modifications.
- Confers with user departments to determine priorities, user identification, availability of vehicles and equipment, etc.
- Utilizes the LMC Motor Vehicle Policy to determine those who are eligible to drive college vehicles including processing and maintaining regular motor vehicle checks on eligible drivers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with a work schedule that may vary throughout the year.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Limited local travel utilizing a college-owned vehicle is required with this positon. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
