Reports to: K-12 Principal


Responsibilities & Expectations: Work alongside our K-12 Principal to ensure that all aspects of grades K-5 are well established and embodying Legacy’s Mission:


  • Culture
  • Maintain a Christ-centered, relationally engaging, excellence-oriented, and others-focused culture throughout the middle and high schools and within LCS as a whole.

  • Staff Team
  • Develop, direct, and support Elementary staff positions.
  • Ensure staff spiritual fitness to be leading and engaging students with Christ and his Word.
  • Provide professional development and direct support necessary to ensure academic and environmental excellence and leadership development for staff.

  • Student Body
  • Ensure students are prepared to progress through Elementary to Middle and High School to successful graduation.
  • Maintain positive, engaged, partnership-oriented relationships with LCS parents.
  • Oversee reporting of grades and student data for Elementary.

  • Programming
  • Oversee Christ-centered Curriculum for all subjects/grade levels.
  • Cultivate enriching spiritual, service-oriented, and personal growth activities for students beyond the classroom.
  • Expand current academic and extracurricular opportunities.

  • Other Duties as Assigned by K-12 Principal


Qualifications:

  • Exhibits an authentic, mature relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Faithfully engaged in a local church.
  • Committed to LCS' Mission.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree from an Accredited College or University
  • Valid Indiana Administrator License
  • 3-5 Years Administrative Experience, Christian School Preferred
